@pocketgh0ul I actually think the unfiltered picture looks better as it shows off the warm tones of your skin while the filtered one smooths it too much and it loses that depth of color. The filter isn't doing you justice.
New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.
Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.
Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.
A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
@ZacB_MN Apartments do not behave like consumer goods. A landlord is better off allowing an apartment to be vacant for several months than they are in lowering the price of the unit because the money loss from a substantial reduction in price outweighs the money lost from the vacancy.
@ZacB_MN Housing has inelastic demand. It is not very affected by the effects of consumer supply and demand. People will always need a place to live. Landlords do not lower their rents if they have vacant apartments, they simply wait for someone who will pay the increased price.
