What a run, but all good things...
What Cristopher Sanchez just did over the last 50.1 IP is something I’ll never forget watching. It is something we won’t see again in our lifetimes.
Fifty consecutive scoreless IP. Most ever by a LHP in MLB.
Thanks Sanchy.

“nothing i ever said was for personal gain”
devonta smith went for 9 catches 183 yards and 1 touchdown against the Vikings in a week 7 win
this is what brown posted after the game
Jordan Mailata: “Sean [Mannion] is an evil genius. The guy knows ball. If I were to lock the three smartest people in the building in a room together, Sean would be there. He’d probably be by himself.” #Eagles
Just watched Shohei stop running halfway to first and turn back to the dugout on a ground out.
Could you imagine if Harp ever did that? It would burn down the city.
Anyway, great win.

You’ll see a ton of stats surrounding Cristopher Sanchez the next 24 hours.
Here’s the main one:
Not a single run allowed the entire month of May. 39 IP. Not a single run.
That’s next level dominance. Special.

I spoke with Grover Cleveland Alexander today about Cristopher Sánchez possibly breaking his franchise consecutive scoreless inning record.
“I’m rooting for him,” said Alexander, age 139. “He’s an incredible talent.”
Classy stuff from Old Pete.
Don Mattingly talked before the game about the need for the #Phillies' right-handed hitters to produce more vs. lefties.
Today vs. Guardians LHP Parker Messick:
--RHHs (Turner, Bohm, Realmuto, Garcia, Sosa): 1-for-13, 5 Ks
--LHHs (Schwarber, Harper, Stott, Marsh): 4-for-9, 1 K
Yes. I think it’s fair to say the Phillies pre-Rob firing were sloppy and losing games on their own. Not all games are created equal.-
If you watched the game last night, Williams was every bit as good as Sanchez. He was fantastic.
Smith was one pitch better than Duran.
It wasn’t that Cristopher Sánchez extended his scoreless streak, it was how he did it — by throwing his third pitch more than he ever has in his career. Another level unlocked?
“I’ve never felt like this.”

Guys, stop being mean to Spencer. He’s worked way too hard, for way too many years, with not nearly enough recognition along the way.
I wanted this to die down on its own, and let Spence win people over on his own, because he will. He’s a phenomenal person.
