@hinx I think maybe he's trying to give Drysdale an outlet while the F1 is pressing. Once the F1 peels off, Zamula exits because there's no reason for Drysdale to need an outlet.
Still a brain dead play but I think Drysdale should be holding that puck and regrouping to lead the rush
@charlieo_conn Drysdale pinched. Farabee went for a change and Michkov comes on to take the near side F.
I'm guessing Seeler is supposed to rotate to take the wide far side forward, but could also be that Michkov is supposed to hang back and cover.
@charlieo_conn If you assume Couturier will play for the next 4 years or so, that should offset some concerns about a small center. And if he can't play for the next 4 years, you've got bigger problems so might as well take a big swing on talent.
@DownGoesBrown There's an element of the defender is responsible for not falling into his own goalie. So if the push is legal, the defender needs to have the strength to maintain position.
Main issue I see is that the push is CLEARLY illegal. But could they deem the push illegal on review?
@DownGoesBrown Eric Lindros, 2000 ECF Game 7.
Ended his Flyers career and a promising cup run when he was concussed on a hit by Scott Stevens. Sapped the life out of the team and took more than a decade to heal the divide between Lindros and the Flyers.
