Today was supposed to be the day.

I would like MixCon to continue to go ahead, even with Mixers closure.

The aim of the event is to "Mix people together" no matter the platform or creator.

I want to keep that emphasized + use MixCon to catch up with those we may have lost in transitions!

As a few people have asked, deadline for applications will be May 9th.

This is ensure there is enough content, enough interest, and to give me time to plan whether I'm able to construct this digitally.

Forgot to post this over the weekend but I cant believe it's been a year since the first ever @TheMixCon.

I organised this last minute, out of the blue, & I couldn't believe the amount of people that turned up & the support I received in response.

I know MixCon means alot to many of us. It's a chance to connect, a chance to meet others.

But don't let this stop anyone. Remember, creators may have their DMs open, or streams watchable. All reach out. Check you're viewers. Don't be alone.

This morning I received information that our original venue is closed until the foreseeable future. I am in chat with another venue, but this may also be the same case too.

Everyone's health is important.

We all know what the outcome is most likely going to be. And it's the outcome none of us want.

I work hard to create MixCon. And this will hit me financially so I'm trying to gather all the details first.

On a positive note, there are ONLY 20 tickets left for Wave 1 of MixCon tickets.

There may potentially be a Wave 2 but this is not guaranteed yet depending on how many can fit in the venue & how big I would want the event to be.

I have no reasoning to cancel this event (E.g this is to network & make friends, you won't be touching controllers) but to put yourself at ease, you may want to book hotels with cancellation so its less stressful.

To clarify, MixCon is 100% still going ahead right now.

There's has been a few questions regarding whether MixCon is to go ahead.

As MixCon isn't till July, it is still in the process of happening.
However, I will be evaluating the virus situation closely running up to the event.

@Punishergaming9 MixCon is for everyone, whether you have a community or not. Its a place to connect & meet others, to network & exchange ideas.
MixCon won't help your community grow, only you can do that. But it will make you have lasting connections which are worthwhile on your creator journey.

Whilst MixCon is far away, due to the safety of others & the virus, try not to bring things to MixCon. This is a networking event with the aim to chat, learn, make friends, & understand the gaming world.

Less items, means less people touching the same thing.
