Self-taught AI builder | Shipping The Architect π€ β conversational AI MVP with 100+ mindset blueprints | Building in public | Co-Creator Above The Crowd
I've been building something for 5 months. In secret.
It's called The Architect β an AI-powered personal development tool.
But I was working in a silo. Chasing perfection instead of progress.
So I'm building in public now.
Here's what I'm building π§΅π
Key lesson: This agent doesn't just help me build productsβit helps me solve for the challenges of tomorrow. The earlier, the better. You can build your own intelligence layer. This one took 1.5 hours. Follow the build: @TheMotivationN2#BuildInPublic#AIAgent#Lindy
AI advancements seem to happen all at once depending on how you consume news. Last week, I found a Harvard Business article about an 8-month study: AI has a compounding effect on what's possible but also compounds your workload. I didn't know about this study until last week.
Challenges solved: β’ No native RSS support β pivoted to Search the Internet skill β’ HTTP Request action failed β replaced with AI Agent step β’ Slack showing raw variables β fixed using Auto mode Result: Every 12 hours, relevant AI news in Slack without me hunting for it.
One of the most important parts of building my AI-powered personal development tool: resource management. Tokens aren't free. I needed to set limits to keep costs manageable while testing with real users. My counter kept counting down: 0, -1, -2...
Here's how I fixed it π§΅π
Result:
Counter stops at exactly 10 messages. It Works.
Key Lessons:
1. Trial, error, and persistence eventually lead to the solution
2. Using a hook instead of incorporating the counter into the workflow made all the difference
β’ Design decisions & tradeoffs
β’ Technical challenges & solutions
β’ Leadership lessons from building
β’ Weekly progress updates
If you're interested in AI, personal development, or building in public β follow along.

So I taught myself AI development. Botpress. Conversational design. No-code tools.
I'm documenting the journey β the wins, the debugging sessions, the designs decisions.
I'm sharing:
For 10+ years, I've worked in coaching & leadership.
I kept seeing the same problem: people who needed personal development support were held back by time, money, or access.
Personal development coaching can cost hundreds of dollars per session. Most people can't afford that.
Most AI is reactive. You ask, it answers.
The Architect is proactive. It delivers structured coaching through "blueprints" β not just Q&A.
Think of it as a personal development coach in your pocket. Accessible. Affordable. On-demand.
