#shangchi  is a groundbreaking Marvel movie. The MCU has changed forever and I never want to go back.

@SimuLiu is perfectly cast.

@imax is the preferred format.

Best Movie of the Year!

#FreeGuy

1 Part “Lego Movie”
1 Part “Ready Player One”
1 Part “The Truman Show”
1 Part “Deadpool”

Mix these together and you’ll create a film that is truly entertaining, surprisingly emotional, and (shockingly) isn’t a bit derivative.

In the midst of the controversy surrounding the #ScarJo #Disney lawsuit we mustn’t forget that we have another incredible addition to the #MCU.

Standout: @Florence_Pugh
Weakness: #taskmaster

(A Better Villain story would’ve garnered the final ⭐️ from me)

[The Movie Man @TheMovieMan11]

#JungleCruise is fun but it’s no #Pirates

@TheRock & #EmilyBlunt are delightful while Plemons makes a great villain. Yet, while the 1st act was enthralling, the 2nd & 3rd seemed to drag on indefinitely.

A tighter script & shorter runtime would’ve helped immensely.

Granted, I came into the world just as Reagan was entering the White House, so my relationship with #GIJoe is slightly biased.

Nonetheless, I absolutely loved watching #SnakeEyes on #IMAX.

The origin story format is the perfect way to reintroduce this franchise.

Beautifully dark & stunningly macabre this #TimBurton stop-motion work of art is my middle-schooler’s favorite scary movie.

#Coraline is a great intro for older children to the creative storytelling traditions of things like #TwilightZone, #TheSixthSense, & #GetOut.

The Tomorrow War is an incredible, feel-good, action flick apparently inspired by the best of the 90s.

Wonderful casting, great score, & an even better script.

The only thing missing was an #IMAX movie theater.

#GreenlandMovie is passable entertainment if you find yourself quarantined.

But I liked the movie better when it was called Deep Impact, Armageddon, Geostorm, and even The Day After Tomorrow.

#AQuietPlace2 is the perfect post-pandemic movie.

If this is the film that will reacquaint you to the theater experience, you couldn’t have picked a more thrilling, tightly-compacted, and visceral summer film.

We want more. Give us PART-3

[The Movie Man @TheMovieMan11]

#Mulan is not #Disney’s worst attempt at a live-action remake.

The film is cinematically stunning, showcasing the most beautiful landscapes of China & New Zealand.

Yet it lacks charm.

Joy only peeks in when we are reminded of the ‘98 original through musical cues.

[The Movie Man @TheMovieMan11]

Over 4 years after its release I still see the #JungleBook as #Disney’s best live action remake.

@Jon_Favreau captures the magic of the original while expanding the universe fit more of Kipling’s original scope and vision. Beautifully colorful and perfectly cast.

[The Movie Man @TheMovieMan11]

Celebrating one of the greatest Christian women in U.S. history, #HARRIET tells the story of the Underground Railroad prior to the American Civil War.

Superb acting, excellent score, and an artistic delivery make this movie one of 2019’s must see films of the year.

[The Movie Man @TheMovieMan11]

Visually stunning yet too confusing! #ChristopherNolan shows us his version of a Bond movie, set in a sci-fi world.

Yet this time travel thriller is more excruciating than exciting. Though surely #Tenet would be more enjoyable after a 5th watch, i just can’t do it.
