A student walked into #class today and due to so many of her peers being absent with #covid19 said, “wow, it feels like last year when only half the class could attend”. #pandemicteaching #education

Today a student asked me if this was an old time thing. I turned around to see a pencil sharpener. I answered “I would not define it as an old time thing”(because I am not an old time thing).” The kid continues to use sharpener whispering “this is so satisfying” 😂 #teacherlife
