I had gender dysphoria as a young teen in the 90s. My mental illness was a result of an abusive home, with a mother who wouldn’t protect me and a step father who sexually, physically and mentally abused me and my 6 siblings.

I shudder to think what would have happened if I had been born at a later time and dealt with gender dysphoria. I would not have been allowed to naturally come to the conclusion that I AM a woman. My three children would not be here and my entire life would have been defined by people who would still be financially benefiting from destroying my life.
