I found this uncomfortable. How can our legal tender be manipulated to this level? A company has made chocolate packaging from our sh50,000 note. I stand to be advised. @BOU_Official@newvisionwire
Dear @NPA_UG kindly fix that elevator or put it 'out of use'. Today I tested how it feels being in the grave. The elevator just blacked out and I was the only user in it... what happened thereafter I will share upon discharge from hospital. Beware
Antimicrobial resistance(AMR) week.
Another time to remind the masses that AMR is fatal,
Stop drug misuse, avoid infections, prevent acquiring infections that may predispose you to AMR, TOGETHER WE CAN KICK OUT AMR

@FredEnanga1@PoliceUg Serving the State is the most difficult job. You were excellent. There are times I would get worried of what you would present to the public, but you never disappointed. We are parents in same school somewhere. We shall always connect.
Continue doing good my brother.
Collaborating with counterparts in the Committee, I pledge to dedicate my time to addressing the common challenges faced by our people, including climate change effects, legislation affecting Africa, and the pursuit of unity in the region.
During the convention, I delivered a keynote address on climate change. I urged my colleagues to recognize the legislative power we hold and emphasize the need for our Parliaments to align with the rapidly transforming world, embracing green competition for future growth and development.
Furthermore, I highlighted the crucial role legislators play in prioritizing climate change as an emergency, ensuring the safeguarding of natural resources for a balanced eco-system.
The conference also addressed diverse issues like inclusive Parliaments, security for Members of Parliaments, health and well-being of legislators, gender, and youth governance.
The conference, opened by the President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. Yoweri K. Museveni, emphasized the formulation of positive legislations focused on developing the continent. I commend the Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda for hosting this conference, showcasing a spirit of togetherness in nurturing Parliamentary democracy.
The CSPOC conference, created in 1969, serves as a platform for Speakers and Presiding Officers of Commonwealth Parliaments to share experiences and collaborate.
Operating on a two-year cycle, the next host for the 28th biennial conference is the Parliament of India in January 2026.
I am deeply honored to have been re-elected as the Africa bloc representative in the Standing Committee of the CSPOC.
This second term marks my unwavering commitment to the development of our continent, a commitment solidified during the Africa Region Geo-Political meeting at the sidelines of the 27th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth (CSPOC) in Kampala, Uganda.
My re-selection reflects the trust my fellow Speakers within the Commonwealth region have in my leadership and service delivery.
@HonWetangula You are the right choice Papa Wa Roma. We look forward to joining you in mitigation of climate change effects and bettering legislation in Africa. Please remember to put in action the idea of having EALA MPs elected by all citizens not just within their Houses.
@HonWetangula I was privileged to attend that dinner at your invitation @HonWetangula. I got culturally emotional when the performance was winding up without any performance from Bugisu. Thank you @AnitahAmong for responding to my small note and ensuring that kadodi is played ... the big dance
@SilasOrumba@HonWetangula Yaaya ambola mbola. Everything will fall in place at the right time. Imagine even us the mulembe youths of Uganda are eyeing him for any crumb that falls off his table. I can imagine the pressure he has to deal with. For now let us work hard where we are as we pray for our bro.
Ahmednasir SC ,you warned me of sabotage by corrupt judicial officers. I told you there are many good officers in the judiciary and that we will root out the corrupt. We shall. Muite SC, the impunity of bribing judges so as not to derail, delay, or sabotage Kenya’s imminent transformation will never happen under my watch. Not a single cent will be used to bribe nobody. Mambo ya wafisadi wote ni yale nilisema.....

@HonWetangula Wow, God will always bless those who welcome others with open arms. I still miss the cool ambiance of this home in Kabuchayi. Small birds make their nests on huge trees and you are that tree. Be blessed big bro because you are a blessing to many.
