I've been studying this book about leadership in the All Blacks and it made me realize that we have so many great examples of working environments that we could take inspiration from, but in esports very few actually try to make one where the invididuals can grow and become the actual winning team and we just look to get the 5 best players at the time and hope everything goes well.
Not every org is like this, but I feel like way too often people have such a short sight in esports and try to build projects for the year that's coming and the year after they just throw everything away and start over. I am none to say this, but in my humble opinion if we want to win worlds one day we need to start with the environments that builds the players, not from the players itself.
The last point I have is for the players, I have been playing for very long and I've met so many players, if we want to achieve something it's crucial to stay humble and realize that we are extremely small compared to the task we are facing and that means, that it won't come easy, people with talent need actual really hard work and a good environment to grow, but we are the environment we make.
