@TheParableMan @XanderPLehman Yeah you’re the authoritative interpreter of scripture…lol.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@packingpatriot_ That’s funny because those who just call out Jesus are all over the board insane. Just read posts on X. They express crazy ideas and all claim the Bible told them so. Popes are just men but at least highly educated and scholarly. Many people need a leader.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@ObsidianGoose How do you abolish pedophilia? Your argument is retarded. Be better.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@BillJohnson1961 @Pmccrsp Do you honestly believe those victims are with God in heaven and pleading with us to kill him so justice is done? Or are they praying for his soul and wishing for him to acknowledge his sins and repent? You think like a man, not like Christ.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@SchrockNat79945 How old is your church? Do you think any man or church is perfect in Gods way?

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@MccaulSabi41676 @MikeWingerii You don’t think the Holy Spirit taught the pope to oppose the death penalty but instead incarcerate criminals and pray for their redemption? I guess the Holy Spirit only teaches people with whom you personally agree.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@NyinaWaJambo81 Yes. Evangelicals have no foundation so they must demand the Bible serve that role. And they demand every word is true while denying it’s really an evolution of finding God. The prophets correct each other over time and ultimately Jesus gives the only full revelation

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@antv69960874 @KingKong9888 I quit listening to those nuts years ago. They were buying long bonds at 1.5% because “the smart money” is predicting prolonged negative rates. They just got murdered.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@SGT_Decker Then maybe study the gospels more. Be very careful that you wouldn’t have rejected Jesus like so many characters in the gospels did.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@MccaulSabi41676 @MikeWingerii What’s words? The Bible wasn’t written in English. You’ve probably never read one single original word. The words are not to be worshipped.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@MikeWingerii Do you get the Bible wrong? Do you pluck your eye out when it leads you to sin? The Bible is complex and written by men no more perfect than the pope. It’s an evolutionary account that involves growth and culminated in Jesus. That’s why Jesus had such a hard time teaching

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@speed_roge75310 I remember many years ago hearing about Madonna being interested in the Talmud. Didn’t know what it was but pretty certain it was demonic.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@charliebilello The devil is in the little detail of who decides what value to assign inflation.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@building_food @rachelgirlsheep Because He is a God of love. Love doesn’t force itself upon another. Love must allow the other freedom to reject Him. God doesn’t wish for evil, but being God, He must allow the freedom to choose it. Most people mistake God for a God of power, not love.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@building_food @ZachWLambert “their history” includes incalculable good done on earth too. Sure people make all the same mistakes that they made in Jesus lifetime, but some have brought Gods love to mankind.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@Macrobysunil Today’s plan is pray for AI productivity miracle while printing as quietly as possible in the meantime. Those high interest rates are not an option.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@building_food @matt_e_cochran Well stated. You get it. It’s so disheartening reading posts on this forum that expose such ignorance and nastiness. You give me hope for Christian’s!

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@CristeraAbigail Nothing is clear in scripture. You’re not understanding what Jesus taught.

[Nakoma @TheNakoma]

@CatholicPebble So everything the Bible says is Gods command we should 100% follow? You don’t want to go down that rabbit hole. The authors had all sorts of erroneous beliefs…we understand this as Catholics. The church can separate the message from the noise.
