after doing this for a period of years, it has in a way, divided my personality into the written Brand, and the vocal Brand. It has also become somewhat difficult to extrapolate concepts on-the-fly with the spoken word, whereas I normally could do so in writing.

This would bring legions of issues but it would preserve one of the tenets discs gave people

The only way this even remotely becomes win-win is if the code IS ownership of the game title. When users resell their code based copy it should deactivate access on the one console the moment another person plugs that same code onto their console.
