i’m gonna get yelled at for saying this, but a lot of women are single because they haven’t met a man who’s better at being a man than they already are.
The Rookie on Netflix is the perfect post-work comfort show. You laugh, you feel, you cry, sometimes all in the same episode. It’s light without being shallow, emotional without being draining, and somehow always leaves you feeling a little better than when you pressed play.
I wish our mothers shared their experiences and thoughts with their sons as much as they shared them with us. The disconnect is ridiculous at this point because it’s almost like they shielded their sons from these things and downloaded everything for their daughters.
I avoid content designed to make me angry towards women like the plague, because that stuff slowly poisons your mind. Both genders are problematic and we all have legitimate grievances against each other. But at the end of the day, being angry and bitter doesn't help anyone.
