@crazy_kitkat_hp@Her0Sum That's a vast oversimplification of the plot, there are no heroes in this story and no villains.
Just good people in a horrific world that eventually turns them into monsters both literally and figuratively.
Abby is never presented as a hero and neither is Ellie.
@LauraBaileyVO it's insane that you would receive death threats
not just because you gave an amazing performance as Abby but also if people really are crazy enough to think you're actually her..well... Abby's not someone i would want to get on the wrong side of!. hope to see you play her again
@003_pc@TroyBakerVA Joel doomed humanity, he was not a hero, he was a complex man who we empathised with that made what felt to him like the only choice available, in doing so the entire world suffered as a result.
@Neil_Druckmann Honestly anyone who loves and understands the characters from the first game has no reason to hate the sequel and i sincerely hope the negative reaction you've received hasn't deterred you from wanting to finish Ellie's story, look forward to part 3.
@Walt3R_Whit3_@Neil_Druckmann you missed a whole lot of really obvious emotion from the side characters, they all feel regret for killing Joel. Abby is trying to atone for it by saving Lev. it's pretty obvious.
@TroyBakerVA I was very doubtful after the leaks but i have to say anyone complaining about the story in this game really didn't understand the original in the first place.
Joel was done justice and the performances you and Ashley Johnson gave were incredible. it was a brutal and honest story
@ReinfeldSerry My question to you is, how can you support someone who used their position to be mentally and sexually abusive , and furthermore, do you have to know someone to care about the harm they do to other people?
and if so is that a moral way to think?
@ReinfeldSerry If you support someone after they've repeatedly behaved in a way that harms others, including underage girls that says a lot about you as a person.
You can support him all you want, but i'd rather listen to people who aren't abusive towards other people.
@ReinfeldSerry I think your post is evidence enough.
what i don't get is why you're shrugging off his behaviour because you like his music, enjoy his music all you want, he's a great songwriter, but he's still an arsehole and my question is , why support someone like that?
@rberdelle A few things, one, mental illness has nothing to do with exposing yourself to a minor, there are no excuses for that, also drug addiction and having had a divorce has absolutely nothing to do with it either. plenty of addicts out there that aren't exposing themselves to kids.
@LizanneKnott @TheRyanAdams I don't agree with mob mentality, the facts are out there and people are going to see him in a different light due to the way he's behaved. like I've said previously, I say this as a fan of his music but now I can't be a fan of him as a person, given what's come to light.
