@lindseyleavitt One time, a bookstore did a literary lock-in for NaNoWriMo. Floors were lined with blankets/sleeping bags, lots of snacks, word sprints and writer games all night. If you needed to, you could curl up and pass out by the shelves. We wrote all night. Best writerly night of my life

@stacymcanulty Totally agree. I took myself to dinner and a movie and got a ticket and chicken fingers with a fountain drink. It was almost $50. For bad food and a worse-than-home movie watching experience, I’ll just stay home next time.
