@LydiaHislop Its a difficult one this, as punters scream 'cheat' - presenters rightly question but need to be careful what and how they say things. The stewards are the ones who can stop it, but their regular use of 'Noted' falls short imo. A few punishments would soon flush this out.

A great day at Aintree. But those Pertemps Qualifiers are a nightmare for the integrity of the game. Every year its just an absolute shark fest and for some reason seen as acceptable.

I've no love for the owner involved like, he has had a big hand in ruining my football club and seems awful.

But given the jockey he had just sacked and how, it was fairly obvious what he was about so surely they went in eyes wide open? All the faux outrage is a bit much.

I seem to remember a jockey leaving the North and making a few rum remarks as he chased the heights and riches of the south. Looking after himself and career aspirations was put forward. Whilst not particularly great over text, this owner is surely just doing the same thing?
