The latest iteration of my aggregate league table for 2026 - All games including pre-season, NFL and championship. Two points for a win, one for a draw. #Westmeath leading the way now with 31 games left in the season.
Here's a bit of a weird stat. Of the 43 from 49 games in championship 2026 played so far where a team has had home advantage, the home team has only won 41.86% of the time. That's against 51.52% in the pre-season competitions and 55.05% in the NFL.
Panel profiles for tie of the weekend, the clash of #Kerry and #Donegal. Murphy throws the Donegal stats a bit as my data starts 2010. Thanks to @Gaelicenjoyer, @kyjim65, @dasheRx27 & @m_brosnan who flagged issues with legacy data pulling thru in my Munster & Connacht final posts
@Gaelicenjoyer@kyjim65@dasheRx27@m_brosnan Not sure what happened there. The legacy data glitched again for Donegal. Going to repost with corrected team sheet. Thanks for flagging that up.
I'm open to correction on this, but I make it that 17 games have gone to extra time in the past three years. @Armagh_GAA have been involved in five of those. That means that #Armagh have been involved in 29.41% of all games which have gone to extra time in the past three seasons.
As requested by @EoghanBrowne10, here is a table for top average points per game for all my records, which start in 2010. Players on less than 15 games filtered out. Table topper, @Kerry_Official's David Clifford is averaging 7.3 points per game in 2026.
So @davidcliff13 hits the 100 game mark. At 27, the @Kerry_Official and @FossaGaa star has a few years left yet. His scoring return must make him one of the most prolific attackers ever to play the game. Another game or so will take him to 600 points for the Kingdom.
Bit perplexed by the reaction to John Heslin's return to the #Westmeath squad. The @StLomansGAAClub man is one of THE most prolific scorers of his generation. If @westmeath_gaa need a score, or to create a bit of chaos in the last 10 minutes, it would be madness not to have him.
Panel stats for the Ulster finalists, @Armagh_GAA and @monaghangaa. We should have the glitches from last week worked out and all the data should be pulling through this time. Thanks to all for the feedback.
Another man who hit an appearance milestone for @OfficialLDGAA against Fermanagh was @LDSlashersGAA Peter Lynn, who has now moved up to 50 caps. Here's the player profile so far.
I make it Patrick Fox's appearance for @OfficialLDGAA in Brewster Park over the weekend was the @TheLaurelsM man's 100th appearance for his county. Here's the profile to date.
