It's time for the world to remember the legendary Tesla Roadster, which started the electric revolution and marked the beginning of Tesla's success story.
This will be the only Tesla Roadster we will ever own.
(Unless we win the lottery 🤣)
I’m definitely not complaining because this car is so fun to drive.🩵
Elon Musk showing off his first-generation cherry-red Tesla Roadster, his daily driver back in 2012.
Six years later, he sent that same car into space aboard Falcon Heavy’s first test flight in 2018.
It’s still out there, orbiting the Sun.
In 2007,Elon Musk had already laid out nearly everything he wanted to build. At the time, @Tesla did not yet have a single car on the road, and @SpaceX had not yet reached orbit.

"It'll be a banger. Excitement guaranteed. Success is not guaranteed, but excitement is. We actually need an audience to vouch for the fact that this is not Al." ♥️

Original Tesla Roadsters are still under $100k and feel insanely undervalued. Only ~2,500 were ever made. That’s rarer than the Ford GT and in the same ballpark as the Carrera GT and Lamborghini Diablo. They’re ridiculously fun.
I genuinely believe these could be worth $500k+ one day. It’s the car that started it all.
It looks like Tesla is about to start production of the next-gen Roadster in Fremont factory. The first jobs have now been advertised.
Originally presented as a prototype in 2017, it’s finally set to launch after 9 years. @GruberMotors

Tesla no paga dividendos.

NEWS: Only about 2,450 original Tesla Roadsters exist, and one just hit the auction block.
A 2011 Tesla Roadster Sport with 32,000 miles is up for auction on Bring a Trailer this week.
It is one of only about 2,450 original Roadsters Tesla built from 2008 to 2012, the model that funded everything that came after.
Values are climbing.
This same car sold for about $80,500 in late 2024, clean examples now average around $93,000 and the record for an original Roadster has topped $250,000.
The Roadster Sport made 288 horsepower and hit 60 mph in about 3.7 seconds on a 53 kWh battery, built on a reworked Lotus Elise.
