Anne Eunson decided to knit herself a fence using twine. The same kind that is used to make fishing nets. knitted on specially adapted curtain rods. It took about 3 weeks to knit enough lace to surround her front garden, using a 23 stitch repeat of familiar Shetland lace pattern.

@Qld_Steve We have a “technology free” period each day. Students are instructed to get outside and exercise or read a book. Teachers are encouraged to do the same… which of course most don’t. But nice to have the opportunity. Year 12s don’t get this but have study periods. So… balance.

@MrMCimino The last two years and my 1.5 weeks off at the end of 2018, because I hit absolute breaking point, have changed my attitude to this. It also helps that our prin is an advocate for MH and checks up on staff (students and guardians) regularly.
