June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month
I wanted to take a moment to remember former ND Running back George Atkinson III & his Twin brother former ND CB Josh Atkinson🙏
Josh Atkinson took his own life on Christmas day of 2018 after battling with the loss of his Mother just two months prior.
His young brother George Atkinson took his own life on December 2nd, 2019 after battling with the passing of his mother & the suicide of his twin brother Josh.
In 2023, both were found to be the first Twin brothers to be diagnosed with CTE by the Concussion & CTE Foundation. Their brain tissue will help inform them on genetic CTE risk factors.
Mental health is a very important subject for us men to discuss because a lot of us don't like to talk about it. I myself have battled with clinical depression and it's always easiest to bottle it up.
If you see this or are in need of any support feel free to dm me to talk. If you or someone you know are battling with depression, suicidal thoughts, or any other mental health issues please talk to a loved one you trust about it or a mental health professional.
TRENDING: Notre Dame has three 90+ Overall Players in EA Sports College Football 27! Including Leonard Moore who is tied for the 2nd highest rated player in the game.
Drayk Bowen: 90 Overall
CJ Carr: 92 Overall (No. 5 QB, No. 40 Player Overall)
Leonard Moore: 97 Overall (No. 1 CB, No. 2 Player Overall)
Who else should be a 90+ Overall on the roster?
TRENDING: Texas Tech HC Joey McGuire offers to play Notre Dame in place of the Longhorns if they back out of the Home & Home with the Irish in 2028-29.
"If Texas doesn't wanna play Notre Dame, we would love to (play them) in '28 and '29."
This comes after news of Texas possibly backing out of the series with Notre Dame when their AD Chris Del Conte said the games were "Tentatively" on the schedule and wouldn't commit to them being played.
If Notre Dame and Texas Tech lined it up the comments from Joey McGuire last season would bring even more intrigue to the matchup. As he went after the Irish mid season about them not being in a conference.
Would you be ok with replacing Texas with Texas Tech if the Longhorns were to back out?
