Fellow Nigerians, good morning.
I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you.
Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances.
We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal.
More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism.
We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power.
Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise.
Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them.
However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building.
Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated.
And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions.
There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline?
Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
🚨Breaking news!! I am starting to question Christianity ❗️
Nobody really told me this is what Christianity is about 😭 I honestly didn’t understand what I was signing up for, and now I’m starting to question my whole decision of becoming a true Christian.
Nobody told me that once you become a true Christian, you get “assigned” to the Holy Spirit, like He just moves in and becomes the landlord of your whole life.
And this Landlord? Ah. Too many rules 😭
“Don’t do this.”
“Don’t say that.”
“Don’t even think it.”
Excuse me?? Even my thoughts are now under surveillance??
Nobody told me anger will now be illegal. Before, I used to express myself freely 😌
Now it’s: “Be calm… be patient… pray for them…”
Pray for who?? The same person that annoyed me?? 😭
Nobody told me small lie will now feel like I committed a federal crime. Before, it was “just a tiny lie.”
Now my conscience is shouting like police siren 🚨
Nobody told me I can’t even enjoy my old lifestyle in peace again. The same things I used to do freely now come with instant guilt package.
Nobody told me gossip will turn into prayer request.
Before: “Come let me tell you what she did…”
Now: “Father Lord, bless her and guide her…”
God abeg 😭
Nobody told me when someone offends me, instead of showing them my full Jezebel reaction, I’ll just smile like a customer care agent, pray silently, and walk away.
Who trained me like this??
Nobody told me if I don’t pray or read my Bible, my whole day will feel somehow, like something is missing, like I forgot my Inhaler at home. I won’t rest until I pray.
Nobody told me humility will just land on my head like this. Me that used to carry pride like designer bag, now I’m humble like someone applying for a visa 😭
Nobody told me some places I used to enjoy, like clubs, will now feel like I mistakenly entered another planet. I’ll just be there like: “What am I even doing here?”
Honestly… nobody told me I won’t even be able to sin in peace again 😭
Now every day is:
“Try again.”
“Do better.”
“Grow.”
Ah.
Nobody told me oo… but somehow… I can’t even go back 😅 I LOVE IT📌
Why I invite people to my local church.
@ThisGreenChurch
We believe church is a bible school for believers, we take accurate exhaustive teaching of scripture very seriously.
Our members are trained and made accountable for a very consistent prayer life, we have a system in place to help every member pray extensively everyday.
We are a serious church, no bells or whistles, we are WORD and SPIRIT people.
Our members are trained to yield to the Spirit and move in the Spirit. Our members are trained to prophesy, minister to the sick, etc
Our approach to church growth is as the early church - evangelism and discipleship, every member is trained and encouraged to reach the lost and serve the saints.
Join us tomorrow in Lagos or London.
Lagos 9am, 30b Opebi rd, Ikeja (beside spectranet)
London 12:15pm, The Wilds, Northgate Rd, Barking Riverside. IG11 0SQ.
Firstly, Christians believe heaven is up there simply because the Bible says “The earth is the God’s footstool”
But this is not the end goal of Christianity.
Christianity is about a new heaven and a new earth and God’s plan of populating that earth with people who are from a different nature from Adam.
This current earth and heaven will pass away and this earth will be destroyed.
In that new earth, Jesus Christ will be our light, there will be no pain, no sorrow and evil will be gone. Also everyone will be willing in that day because we will have the holyspirit living in us.
Why do I believe Christianity is true. Because if someone told me I would receive 5000 pounds tomorrow at exactly 3pm at an exact place, I will not believe the person but if tomorrow came and it happens as they said it. I will remember them. I will be shocked.
Let’s say I then see the person next week and in joy, ran to tell him that it happened and he says “ooh that’s small, you will receive a house next week”.
I will be shocked again, maybe not believe but this time, my unbelief is not 💯
In the same way, Jesus didn’t just show up and ask people to start believing in him. All through the Old Testament, people spoke in different generations about things that will recognize the messiah…
Where he will be born
How he will be born
How he will be killed
The type of death he will die
Now, this person came and said “Yo, I’m here ooo.. na me them dey talk about” and then said incase you are not sure, I will die and then resurrect in three days… Obviously they didn’t believe ooo…
But three days later, he did, he appeared to his disciples and to more than 500 people before he ascended.
Infact one of the disciples still refused to believe and Jesus told him “touch my hand”, see the holes from the nail…
Before he ascended, he taught them about him from the Old Testament and these timid disciples because so bold that they spread this message round the world, not with force , not by killing people but by preventing the word of truth and displaying the power of God
There is no religion that has gone through the same rigour of historical checks and facts that will stand.
We have so many manuscripts, Christian and historians (non-Christian) documenting the truth of this religion…
I’ve not seen another religion that beats this.
Like someone said everyone talks about Jesus, Jesus talks about only himself.
Lastly, I believe in Jesus because he changed my life. The moment I decided to know him, learn about him, my life changed. The peace he gives is tangible and I really pray that everyone experiences this.
Those who believe that he died and rose, Jesus gives them his spirit and they are those who will live in the new earth.

I pray the black race wakes up. Jews knowing how much they needed to have leverage developed their culture to value education and economic progress.
They understood that it is not the sit at the table you were given but the sit at the table that you earned and took that guarantees your respect and dignity.
The black race has to wake up to the necessity of mass education, economic mobility and high impact pursuits.
The nonsense celebration of nudity, sexual objectification and unproductive entertainment needs to stop. It is time to wake up.
Doing a PhD is a huge investment in yourself. You'll know if it's for you. The pursuit of knowledge and the ability to contribute to a field make you powerful.
Don't let anyone put that spark out.
