Also, possibly unrelated, but tons of scammers use Stubhub. FIFA is just exposing the problem en masse.

@tommydprimetim1 The format has more or less a dutch auction, but one where the supply is manipulated and you have no clue how much inventory is left...but they'll tell you there is high demand and scarce inventory only to release hundreds if not thousands of tickets later on (or add new shows)

@tommydprimetim1 It's just like shopping local versus national chains. NIVA even admits Live Nation is putting their venues out of business. Then these same people work with a company actively trying to end their business. About time cities put their local economies and culture over a quick buck.

@tommydprimetim1 @RepNellie I also don't understand the tax payer funded venues that are allowed to be turned around and price gouge the same tax payers who funded the venues.

The monopoly isn't some new accusation. Now, they openly brag that prices are up 75% since 2020 and they want to charge more.
