A massive wake up call! Breaks my heart as a chemical engineer & I have to offer an apology that in 14 years in Gov we went totally the wrong way on energy costs for industry, obsessed by climate taxes. Industry in the UK pays 4 times as much for energy as industry in the USA or Middle East. Chemicals industry is what keeps us alive & protected, yet it’s been decimated. The UK has to be a great place to invest in Chemicals manufacturing, it is a critical national industry. We must fix this. 👇🏽
