There are more flaws in Noah’s flood story than in most of the Bible put together. It doesn’t expose science, it exposes how little ancient writers understood about the world.
They say the whole Earth was covered in water, even mountains. Simple question: where did all that water come from, and where did it disappear to after? Earth isn’t hiding extra oceans in a basement.
Then forty days of nonstop rain somehow floods the planet. Rain doesn’t work like magic. If that much water came from the sky, the heat and pressure alone would turn the world into chaos.
Then one wooden boat holds every animal. Think about that for two seconds: lions, elephants, birds, snakes, insects, cows, termites, pandas, parasites, all in one boat. Food, water, cages, waste, disease, fighting, cleaning. Eight people handling that is comedy, not history.
Then after the flood, every animal spreads back across the world. So kangaroos hopped to Australia, penguins waddled to Antarctica, sloths crawled to South America, and none of them left clear traces on the way? Ridiculous!
Then plants somehow survive months underwater. Forests drowned, crops ruined, land destroyed, but animals step off the boat to a ready-made buffet?
Then two of each animal restart whole species. That means extreme inbreeding from day one. Anyone who knows basic breeding knows that’s a disaster plan, not a survival plan.
Then fish are expected to survive too, while freshwater mixes with saltwater across the whole planet. Many species would die fast.
And if a worldwide flood happened recently, Earth should show one giant mud layer everywhere. It doesn’t.
So the real lesson is simple: Noah’s flood sounds exactly like what ancient people with zero knowledge of weather, biology, geography, or common sense would write. It’s not history. It’s mythology dressed up as fact.
"America is an unstoppable warrior nation"
Examples of the wars America won:
>War of 1812. Washington DC burned, called it a draw.
>Spanish American War. Beat a collapsing empire, then spent years failing to pacify the Philippines.
>World War I. Entered late into a deadlocked trench war and tipped the balance.
>World War II. Entered late again, opportunistically raced the Soviets to Berlin, took credit for Soviet victory. Easily crushed the overextended Japanese who were already bleeding out against the Chinese.
>Korean War. Fought to a stalemate and froze the border where it started.
>Vietnam War. Overwhelming firepower, still lost.
>Gulf War. The one clean, decisive victory everyone jerks off to. Still no regime change.
>War in Afghanistan. Longest war in U.S. history, ended where it began. Taliban in control.
>Iraq War. Finally got regime change, only to hand influence to Iran.
It reminds me of that Chinese fruit seller on TikTok who didn’t speak any English. He’d reply to every single comment with a big smiling emoji, genuinely thinking he was spreading good vibes. Instead, some people started leaving horrible, clickbait comments like “my house burned down and my whole family died,” just so they could screenshot his innocent smiley face and mock him for it.
As a Chinese, I spoke up against the bullying and called it out for what it was—straight-up discrimination. All I got in return was even more hate directed at me. Eventually, the fruit seller realized what was happening, that his kindness was being turned into a joke, and he stopped posting for a long time.
Some people are just cruel. But what’s even worse are the ones who defend the bullies and act like speaking English gives them the right to look down on or harass anyone who doesn’t.
It’s pretty messed up.
This thing is so corny.
Bring up Digimon & "copycats" for no reason in a celebration piece and then says Digimon was made to... compete with Tamagotchi?
Maybe poor phrasing but... it's a product from the same company designed to target a different demographic. Not a competitor.

@Amanseeks Rhode Islands maintains their finances primarily through donations. Due to their advance knowledge on oripathy and their Ability to treat it they have alot of wealthy operators who got sent to Rhodes Islands for treatment. Melantha's family for example is vastly wealthy
Before Korea accuses C-dramas of cultural appropriation, they should probably check how much of their dramas were Copied from Chinese culture and dramas.
@vitaaeris@obsessivetea Idk what you are arguing here. My first sentence was. He is a pdfile because...
The only argument I made is that his pdfilia is not genetic but learned due to the trauma he got.
My second post was: he is scared of all women not just older ones, which is why he is a pdfile
@vitaaeris Yeah thats why he recoiled in fear everytime any adult woman would come close to him like his concubine... Or jinshis mom when she was of age
I really hate to ruin a feel-good story like this but this is an example of how good intentions can be misguided.
It’s not what I would call a “pollinator sanctuary” if it is consists of 30 hives of a non-native farm animal— the honeybee.
Honeybees are wonderful, but they were introduced to the United States by humans who were farming them.
Keeping honeybee hives does not protect the wild pollinators that are actually declining. It’s a bit like saying you’re conserving wolves by getting a pet dog, or conserving bison by buying a herd of dairy cows.
Domestic Honeybees are new in this environment and managed artificially. They can even cause harm to wild bees by outcompeting them or spreading disease.
Honeybees are not endangered. They are one of the most abundant animals on earth. Meanwhile, there are countless other pollinating insects such as flies, wasps, moths, and beetles, as well as ~4,000 of bee that are native to the US, and many of these are declining.
The best way to help wild pollinators is by protecting their habitats, ensuring an availability of native flowering plants, and reducing or eliminating pesticide use. 🐝
Feral dogs and cats need to be eliminated. They should be handled the same way feral hogs and invasive reptiles are handled. Take notes from Australia.
