Yet every day, we lose it in places we never expected to wait.

A quick coffee becomes 25 minutes.

Dinner becomes an hour in a crowded lobby.

A trip to the DMV takes half the day.

The pharmacy is backed up.

The gas station line wraps around the building.

The frustrating part isn’t only the wait.

It’s arriving with no idea the wait existed.

That thought led me to start building Wait.

Wait is designed to show live wait times for restaurants, stores, gas stations, government offices, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, and eventually almost anywhere people go.

We check the weather before leaving home.

We check traffic before driving.

I believe checking Wait before going somewhere can become just as normal.

This is Day 1 of building it in public.

I’ll be sharing the vision, product decisions, business model, challenges, mockups, feedback, and the process of turning an idea into a real company.
