The music may not be the most mind blowing thing on the planet, but Ace's wild, sloppy playing was the most fun part of the band, helped define their sound. If one thing in Kiss' legacy stands the test of time, it's Ace's influence on millions of guitar players.

All my childhood idols fading away this year. I've gone on to listen to a lot more challenging and more interesting music than Kiss. I make fun of the idea of being a Kiss fan nowadays in jest, but over a decade ago I was so in deep on them. Ace was the biggest reason. RIP
