The Controller of Budget’s warning: routine costs are increasingly being funded through this route.

So, President Ruto:

Why were predictable expenses left out of the original budget? How much was actually paid? To whom? When was parliamentary approval sought and obtained? What did taxpayers receive?

Were any recipients connected to public officials? Publish the contracts and ownership records so Kenyans can see—not speculate.

Promises. Plans. Pledges. Where is the verifiable accounting?

Publish the itemised expenditure, recipients, approvals and audit findings.

Kenyans deserve a government whose accountability is as dependable as its tax collection.
