For The Rec heads out there.
Found this on the @NBA2K discord under game suggestions. I'm curious your feedback. Outside of the no fouls, I think this could be a W if 2K implemented. Give a house rules Friday feel to The Rec in #NBA2K27
It’s actually gross the amount of money China spends on things like unlimited clean energy for its citizens when it could be sending that money to Israel instead.
Tony Allen was a great defender in his day.
Tony Allen was also allowed to go all-out on defense because everybody, including his own teams, knew he was completely useless offensively. Career 8 PPG & 1 APG. Pathetic.
LeBron, in his prime, even while having insane offensive responsibilities, was still a dominant defender. Now imagine prime LeBron in Tony Allen's role as a defensive specialist with zero offensive responsibilities. He would be the best defender in NBA history.
Have some self-awareness before you throw shots at the GOAT you bum @aa000G9
.@JrTabansi won't tell you that Kobe approved 2 trades the Lakers offered to Dallas & Cleveland in 2007.
They offered Kobe AND 3 #1 unprotected picks to Dallas for Dirk.
They offered Kobe AND 5 #1 unprotected picks to Dallas for LeBron.
That was Kobe's value in his prime!
Stop acting dumb when we tell you Bron wasn’t appropriately embraced in LA lol all you have to do is look at Luka..nobody has stopped supporting the team or defaced his murals. Nobody in Miami is telling Giannis he’ll never be DWade..That weird shit was exclusively for Bron in LA
JJ Redick says some NBA fans were uncomfortable seeing powerful Black men take control of their own careers.
Redick: "There is a group of sports fans that will always be uncomfortable with powerful Black men making decisions for themselves."
"Part of the backlash was LeBron not following Michael Jordan's path."
"The other component is exactly what I just said."
Dwyane Wade: "Nobody criticises Larry Bird, Magic Johnson or Michael Jordan for playing with Hall of Famers."
"The difference is we made that decision ourselves."
"We felt some of the hate was because we were Black men deciding the fate of our own careers."
"We changed the way the NBA would probably be forever."
