US financial system is deeply anchored in credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).

American banks and card networks generate massive revenue through interchange or "swipe fees".

American public is suffering due to these interest rates.

UPI was built as a non-profit, that is mostly free for consumers and very low fee for merchants.

American financial institutions don't want to allow a system like UPI that would completely wipe out billions of dollars in credit card processing profits.

It is time to free USA from the clutches of these oligarchs and implement UPI in USA.
