@OAS_SLC @slcmayor We anticipate that many of those who chose to live in the Village will have a broad spectrum of mental illnesses and disabilities and we will have onsite wrap-around services for them.

@cryptidthottie @Wilkinsonfamil5 @slcmayor We have no plans to force anyone nor do we have any authority to do so. We hope to create a warm, safe, nurturing environment and invite people to come live there. We will have full wrap-around professional medical and mental health services on site.

The Academy is 2.5 years for life skills and vocational training and often is an alternative to incarceration, while the Village is to provide permanent supportive housing for the chronically homeless.

@Wilkinsonfamil5 @slcmayor We expect that the majority of the participants within The Other Side Village will have mental health and physical challenges and we will have wrap-around onsite services for them. The Other Side Academy is different and does require good health.
