The correct solution to this isn't 1 or 9, it's to track down the person who made and yell at them until they rewrite it into something readable. Ime ppl express division as multiplying by the inverse or with a fraction line across the whole equation to avoid this exact debate

Whenever I see a viral math tweet, I know that its an idiotic order-of-operations thing.

People are endlessly fascinated by order of operations.

In actual math, its not really relevant, because you would simply write your equations in a more natural way.
