@petulad It is the day after Xmas, I'm cleaning up, drinking coffee & listening to your latest WaPo article. Then I damn near choked when I hear MY NAME!! I wish ya'll would have told me that msg was going to be published. It was just a small gesture not to be known. Shhh!😮🥹
@BrianLehrer Finally, The MTA is not regulated. That is the big Elephant in the room. They keep needing money but have to report to no entity? That's crazy. What other gov't agency has that kind of latitude?
@BrianLehrer So if you want to go see a B'way show you can't hang out in the city, because you're going to be stranded in the city. Bus services shuts down by midnight most times.
@BrianLehrer It's difficult to connect in NJ via any mass transit. Usually you have to go into NYC, turn around and take a different bus/train instead of going through hubs. Many parts of the state don't have 24hr access to mass transit.
@BrianLehrer Also, the issue with the pricing is NYC gets all this money but nothing is given to help NJ. And frankly, we're the one's paying the tolls. Where's NJ Transit's cut?
@BrianLehrer If NJ had better bus service in the early morning, the few people who need to drive in could get in. My husband has to be on 57th st. for wk at 6am. There isn't enough bus service to get into the city via the GW or to 42nd st.
@TheBaddestMitch Slurs? Its AAVE. It's a signifier of association. We stay talking about yall in your face especially, under duress. You're just mad cause you can't monetize it...yet.
@FabianWertek@BeauTFC That I how AAVE works. It rhymes, it's descriptive, it references the topic i.e. Vanilla (whiteness). It's not suppose to have historical reference.
