Plus Users- have sheer number
Free users- are happy with using chatbot
Business plan users- few are far between for Open Ai. Dont have a voice on X ( can be easily ignored)

Conclusion: Open Ai cares only about hype on social media. Caters to those with big social media presence. Uses that hype to somehow try and trap the enterprises.

This is no long term strategy.

And then people ask, why Anthropic is so popular among real businesses.

If one dgx isnt enough, even 4 wont be enough to run anything more than flash models. You yourself are a prime example of why one should not buy DGX spark for the foreseeable future.

You bought 1 DGX spark, then you bought multiple, then you realised thats not enough, now you are buying a DGX station which is worth an entire house or a life saving or an average person. And YET, you wont be able to run frontier intelligence on it…

you yourself are sporting multiple 200 USD subscriptions from various top labs to make up for the inediquacy despite spending a lifetime worth of savings. If thats not an admission of inediquacy of local ai, I dont know what is.

No matter how much you try to justify things, local Ai is only good if it can work with 16-32 gb of Vram. Beyond that, leave that to the data centers for the immediate future.

These weren’t affordable then, neither are they affordable now.
Normal people dont need to buy 10000 usd worth of hardware just to run chinese flash models. They only need to have an opencode go sub for 10 usd a month, and use unlimited Muse spark 1.3 , plenty of hy 4 and other chinese flash models. Thats it

I don’t trust Google anymore. Have you all already forgotten how several of their employees kept making vague posts implying that Ox Alpha was Gemini? And in the end, they embarrassed themselves pretty badly.

Now they’ve deliberately dropped a “leak” about some supposed RSI. It feels clearly staged, and honestly, I wouldn’t even be surprised if X creators were getting paid to make posts about it.

Anyway, that’s just my opinion. Don’t take any of this as fact.
