@ronmortgageguy Meanwhile a friend of the family who retired from air Canada over 15 years ago… still can fly on standby which is usually first class if there is space for like $50 anywhere in the world. And bring friends as well for $100. Why are we offsetting these perks?
@Vanrealtywatch1@CTVVancouver also the kids need to not be so soft and get doing some hard work without their phone glued to their hands or complaining about working in the rain.
@EVANetcetera@SteveSaretsky Yes it does. They made natgas unappealing and worked with municipalities to push EV, heat pumps and electrification before we had enough power to actually do it. We see this all the time they restrict what power they allow people to have. It’s piss poor planning.
@VanCityPOV Like BC Hydro opposing using natgas for years and running adds against it, then realizing they don’t have enough power generating and having to use it again. Like no shit. The ceo should be fired.
@ArturoVandelayI I like the idea of space. But realistically in the short term we can either fix this planet or fly away I think we will find it’s easier to stay and fix as we only have so much labour and resources at the moment.
@AaronGunn If this was the “best” planning our energy monopoly has we should be very afraid. This is a huge miscalculation of required electricity in less than 5 years. Should get someone in trouble or questioned at very least? @bchydro talk about woke then coming back to reality 🤣🤣🤣
