Tokon hate discourse is genuinely depressing, on one hand I get people are upset over the PC launch among other things, but to me it feels like people are trying to actively shut it down before people can get a chance to try the game out.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't voice your concerns or opinions ofc. If you hate Tokon for real that's also valid I think. But I think people should try to give it a fair shake before determining if they don't want to play anymore.

Tokon is complex for newcomers, but what are they gonna think if people who play fighting games say it's a brainlet game or mash city? obviously they aren't gonna want to play a "bad" game?? How would they know if all they see is negativity?

Yes, tag games can be complicated and learning 4 characters is daunting, but that's never stopped people from playing games like umvc3 which is arguable more complex and difficult to play. (2/?)

@ireneylee Also I guess hate for the new thing is not really new, people have been hating every time a new street fighter comes out or games like bbtag that don't fit the conventional norms of fgs. I really wish people would lighten up...

@ireneylee I think 40k is pretty dang good for a fighting game, but there's just so much hate from influencers and PC players (kinda justified but still) I think it's warping peoples' perception of the game.
