The #gamedev life is a grind! I've been working on my #indiegame for almost five years and I'm still coming across new goofy bugs like this one. All you can do is persevere!

Hi everyone! I am coming back from about a four month hiatus from developing my game. I needed time to focus on finishing my Computer Science degree at Rutgers University.
I still love my project and fully intend to release the game in the coming months! Stay cool! #IndieGameDev
@PolarTree_Games I think shady business practices and copycating are bad. Don’t mistake this with using paid assets though!
Game dev is hard and paid assets are a great way to fill skill gaps and make your dream project. Be proud of your game, assets or not!
Going forward, I'll do my best to keep you guys updated, but most importantly I will be focusing more time and effort on improving the game. Stay cool everyone :)
IMPORTANT PROJECT UPDATE:
The release date for The Perished has been pushed back to January 17th, 2023

Just know that I am still incredibly invested my vision for this game, and I want more than anything in the world for horror and indie game lovers alike to play it.
The progress of our game has been quite slow recently. I could give a thousand excuses, but to tell the truth, I've been plagued with the struggle for motivation that many indie game devs have to deal with.
