This! I'll tell you from experience

I was a price actiom trader before i switched to SMC.

Why did i make this switch? 👇

As a trader, you see things clearer when you study yourself and results as much as you study the charts.

Backtesting previous years ( 2023- early 2025 ), trendlines and some of those indicators played out very well and were really effective.

But as time went on, i realized that their efficiency began to drop ( late 2025 - 2026 ).

I started to see people that trade these strategies begin to have less win rates, even in the online space.

But on the contrary, i saw guys like @thissdax and many others who their strategy still remained consistently effective.

Before i made this switch, i took time to examine my winners and losers to see if they were psychological and they were not.

I lost two prop accounts, due to technicals. I knew it was strategy, because i journaled my trades, so i could always revisit and study them.

In summary, i observed that my previous strategy wasn't as effective as it used to be, because the market changes. Then that was when i decided to make the switch. And honestly things became better.

A good strategy helps your psychology.

I learnt to evolve with the market, and this was what helped me. Be flexible as a trader!
