In summary, SavantChat offers strong auditing tools at a reasonable price, but they still have work to do in building reputation and credibility.

Benchmarking directly against conventional audits would be a great step in that direction. I’d consider using their services for less critical code, during active development, or as a final pass before getting a full traditional audit.

Even if AI audits begin to approach the quality of conventional audits, they still have a long way to go in terms of reputation.

Customers using your product or developer tooling are far less likely to feel confident in its security if it’s marked as “AI audited” rather than reviewed by a respected firm, or probably even a firm they have never heard of.
