We have to amend the offside rule, Denmark’s goal is technically offside but the rule does not seem rational to a spectator. Does he really gain a competitive advantage with 10cm of his toe? Same for the handball, it’s not natural for defenders to have hands tied behind back.

Guehi will be a big loss next game, I would assume Konsa will replace him. Would like to see Trent over Trippier as both fullbacks were poor today. Natural left winger (Eze/Gordon) is essential. I would do Jude with Rice but if not then Foden has to drop out for the balance.

Trippier & Walker have given it away so much and aren’t doing enough to progress the ball forward. Jude is more effective deeper, Kane is getting zero service.

This team has been unbalanced since the start of the tournament and Southgate has done nothing to rectify, instead changing his CM twice. No surprise we are struggling. Palmer & Gordon have to come on now, if you had to drop Foden or Jude so be it. I would still put Jude CM.
