First drive with FSD v14.3.3DU
😣Hard brake for pedestrians (overly cautious)
😣Disengaged for almost scraping wheels on a turn
😣Stopped for pedestrians when car had right of way going straight (Lucky no cars behind)
😣Kids didn't like standard or hurry mode as passengers
But...
🎉It doesn't turn on to the wrong side of road like v13 did
🎉It actually accelerates properly (only in hurry mode though)
🎉 Smoothly changes lanes often when needed
Ideally I want hurry modes acceleration and confidence but with standard lane changes. I'll need to go on more drives to understand which mode fits each driving scenario.
@Cundalinis_hand Be careful out there, you know drivers can hold accelerator while in FSD which disengages the auto braking? 2t vs human doesn't work out very well for the latter
2 weeks later v13.2.9, aka "GrannyT", is still hanging around. Yesterday she rolled out into the middle of a 4 lane intersection and stopped so cars could T bone me. Ironically she rolled faster than the v14 rollout.
You are going off skewed data, you can't count digital-only releases (indies) which make up most of the %. Sony quoted it to make people accept their decision.
An extreme analogy: It's like a car company bragging "85% of our sales are EVs!" (mostly small city cars) while keeping diesel SUVs hidden in the back with almost no options on the lot, then using the numbers to justify axing SUVs completely.
@PlayStation I'm waiting for Xbox to replicate this, then gamers will migrate.
Announcing digital only right after you wiped paid digital movie collections is a bold move.
@FSDSupervisor@13arm13arm If that's the worst then it's much better than v13, I should record how mine tries to cross onto other side of road during a simple left turn that I take daily. I can't wait for v14
@ARand0mPerson@TeslaAUNZ They charged me, and gave me v13. I would be patient if I wasn't charged. My car isn't fresh off the lot, it's a launch series juniper
FSD v14 Lite is now rolling out to AI3 early-access customers. Based on the feedback, will rollout to more customers over the next few weeks.
This build distills the driving behavior from AI4’s v14 series into both the camera and compute config of AI3. It includes destination options and speed profiles on city roads, but more importantly significantly improved safety.
We hope you’ll enjoy it, once the build ships wide.
@IanBennettsAUS@TeslaAUNZ Thanks for the awesome breakdown, makes sense to get to your figure. You said 10% so confidently but it's hard to extrapolate from 17 cars, most of which could be from the EAP cohort. Imperfect, as you mentioned, it was the confidence in that data that threw me
Correct me if wrong, Teslascope says 17 cars in total out of all teslascope subscribers have v2026.16.6 which is the Australian release of FSD 14.3.3. The rest are non FSD updates
Legit question, how does that equal 10%? Are there only 170 cars contributing data to Teslascope in Australia?

@McStavo@TeslaAUNZ Correct, but I've got inferior v13 software on my car from when I tried it on release 9 months ago so they took my money. Paying outright and not getting it yet must hurt more tho
