UNWARRANTED CAUSAL ATTRIBUTION:

Channel 4 has presented an unverified personal attribution as a framing device without noting that the base rate of rejection in publishing makes race an unnecessary explanatory variable.

Multiple rejection is a near-universal feature of publishing regardless of race. The industry is notoriously risk-averse.
