I think achievements should be used to highlight fun content that the player may miss otherwise, and serve as a sort of checklist for the most satisfying parts of a game. I shouldn't need to speedrun a game to say I've finished it 100%.

Thinking back on a game I beat with a friend @DoujinShinji a few weeks ago: Split fiction! INCREDIBLE experience. Without a doubt one of the best, if not THE best, 2 player co-op games of all time. Ideas, flow, pacing, game feel, polish, incredible. My jaw dropped several times.

Common side effects has me HOOKED. I'm in love with the characters, the art style, the story, the pacing, just everything. Every single episode has me immediately wanting the next one. One of my favorite shows in the past few years hands down. Like earthbound meets breaking bad.

In terms of the Nintendo Switch 2 news, I'm not too impressed. What I wanted most was an actual game that lets me shake a glass and feel the ice cube tumbling around inside. (I'm being 100% serious.) 8 years since this joy con preview video and still nothing.
