A statement from the RLPA regarding the 2024 RLCS announcement:

With many organizations already frustrated with the current rule changes, this stance in travel compensation goes directly against the best interest of the players. We stand side by side with the orgs rights to have the RLCS follow standard esports procedure.

If an organization isn't able to provide the full ticket cost for players, then the players themselves are the ones that have to suffer from this stance because jetlag is a major factor when competing internationally. Or if one flight is cancelled for any reason then that puts the players competition at stake.

We hope that Psyonix can take better concern over their players, and would like to extend a reaching hand to any organization owners that would like to collaborate in our efforts.

Today we are hosting a session titled ‘Basics of Mental Performance + Deliberate Practice’ at 10:00 PT / 18:00 GMT

In this session, coaches from @1HP_Official and @AkolyteEsports will explore some of the key aspects that underpin peak performance, from psychological skills to principles of training.

The session will be an hour in length with an AMA after, where you will have a chance to have your questions answered by our industry leading partners!
