See the flood and see the stack of generators? Imagine the noise when they are all on. We live like this and come online to defend politicians that have kept the country like this for decades.
The Lagos State Government has inaugurated a Special Task Force to combat indiscriminate waste dumping across the metropolis, particularly on roads, bus stops, garages, and lay-bys. As part of the initiative, members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) will work with government agencies as “waste police” to monitor and report environmental violations.
Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. @seunosiyemi_ , emphasized that tackling environmental abuse requires collaboration between government and transport unions, warning that offenders will face sanctions. He also directed union leaders to ensure cleanliness in their garages and parks, discourage indiscriminate trading, and remove illegal structures that contribute to waste generation.
Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Sam Egube, highlighted the critical role of transport workers in maintaining public order and security, urging them to report suspicious activities and support efforts to keep Lagos clean and safe.
LAWMA Managing Director, Dr. @muyiwag , noted that Lagos generates about 13,000 tonnes of waste daily and called on transport unions to help prevent waste disposal on roads, promote proper waste management, and stop street trading around bus stops and newly constructed roads.
Stakeholder @Sola_Giwa assured the unions of government support in enforcing sanitation standards, removing illegal shanties, and maintaining clean transport facilities. In response, the transport unions pledged their commitment to partnering with the government in waste policing and environmental sanitation across Lagos.

159 - Since Sir Keir Starmer became UK Prime Minister, Arsenal have won more games (46) and points (159) than any other Premier League side.
Landslide.
Hello @AngelaRayner
Is your @UKLabour parliamentary party going to “crown” @AndyBurnhamGM or are you going to advise @Keir_Starmer to call a General Election now ?
Or do you have no principles & say & do whatever suits your personal ambitions?
Look at this good for nothing piece of shit.
You’re a lowlife. And you’re less. Punk ass slave. The fact that you don’t even rate the people reading your tweets makes it worse because you think everyone is like the idiots you give peanuts for bigotry.
I labored for 3 good days because my husband said it’s a taboo to deliver through CS!
This one doesn’t value her life because her husband is her everything!
Dear Chinedu @GRVlagos
I have no interest in descending into the mudslinging and distractions you appear to thrive on. My focus remains on the important work before us - supporting the efforts of the Lagos State Government to ensure the safety, well-being, and prosperity of Lagosians.
If being committed to public service, good governance, and the protection of the interests and heritage of Lagosians is what you choose to describe as bigotry, then I make NO APOLOGIES for standing firmly by those principles. Public service is not a tea party - but how can you know what it entails? Nemo dat quod non habet.
For the sake of clarity, I would advise you, in your saner moments, to acquaint yourself with my record in public service - from my appointment as Special Adviser on Education to Mr. Governor in 2019 to my present tour of duty at the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources. The record is public, and it speaks for itself.
As for the labels and accusations, I will leave others to judge them on their merits. I have no intention of engaging in personal attacks or trading insults with a political nomad driven by ignorance and needless hatred.
I wish you all the best.

@TertaOpp Same here. The only reason is Refvrm easily win the next elections except things change
radically before then. They're scared of losing their seats but Burnham isn't going to save them either.
A society that turns a blind eye and abandon its children in the hands of kidnappers for 34 days is never going to progress. The school children of Borno and Oyo deserve to be rescued. Their parents deserve to see their children. The kids deserve to be back home
