And there we go. Point Lonsdale the fav romped it like it’d just robbed lillywhites. Reach for the moon came in 2nd at 11s and Great Max placed 3rd to keep a few punters in the mood
TheRacingSeven is back! We’re swapping the tweed for the top hats to take on the Queens meeting, Royal Ascot. Last time out saw 83 players battle it out for the top prize which finished with shrewdie Ewan Burns walk away with 6/7 winners and 500 nicker to fatten the wallet.
3 of the top 4 benefitted from non runners. You know who you are. Ewan takes home gbp498, Braden takes 207.50, and Steve and Ian split the 83gbp in 3rd. Next up is the Guineas at Newmarket 1-2 May. Spread the word. TR7.
The results are in and quite frankly I’m astounded but thankful there’s no TR7 admin representative in the money. In fact messrs Gibbs and Baynes both finished in the lower echelons.
Result race 7: 1st Knappers Hill, 2nd Peking Rose, 3rd Stage Star. Just 17 of the TR7 opening 83 placed. Have you all been on the juice?? Bears an incredible resemblance to my own form. Results to follow
All the front runners have similar picks. The only way I can see a big swing through one eye is if my old friend Boycey’s Charlie’s Glance wins with no placers, or embarrassingly the wife’s Fruit and Nut comes up fruity
Once more into the breach, dear friends, once more. In the 18:20 you can cut the tension at the top of TR7 leaderboard with anything you fancy. Incredibly we’ve got 4 nags with 10 votes a piece. Knappers Hill, The Gossiper, Super Six and Balco Coastal.
Result race 6: 1st Minella Times, 2nd Baiko Des Flos (was100/1!), 3rd Any Second Now. Only 18 placers. We’re all running out of puff with one left. We have one clear leader with one to run.
The Grand National at 17:15. The one we’ve all been waiting for. 12 have Minella Times, 8 are touching Cloth Cap, and 6 fancy a Discorama. 2 joint 1sts and 3 joint 2nds with 2 to play.
The 16:15 sees 24 folks hooting and hollering for Happygolucky, 18 on Snow Leopardness, and 15 for Fagan. Another famous league and European cup winner for the Reds.
