Was watching football with my brother—who doesn’t play games or watch streams—and told him some Twitch streamers pull viewership equal to a packed stadium. He didn’t get it… I then showed him some @theburntpeanut clips and he was howling. 🥜
ARC Raiders is doing for Extraction Shooters what Fortnite did for Battle Royale.
Escape From Tarkov set the stage, much like H1Z1 & PUBG did for Battle Royale.
But ARC Raiders is bringing the Extraction Shooter genre to a more casual audience.
An arm band that can be crafted and shared in raid that will turn off friendly fire/put name above head of raider you make friends with in raid.

I'm getting used in a bunch of examples about this so I wanted to make my stance on this really clear:
@ARCRaidersGame PvPvE is amazing. I would change nothing about it. I love the KOS players. I love the extract campers. I love the betrayals. I even love the grievers!
... wait, what?
Yes. The gameplay loop in Arc Raiders is so special because you never know what to expect! That's the SPICE! It makes all those friendly encounters mean so much more. It makes the experience richer and more varied. Do I like getting extract camped? Hate it. Do not like. Griefed? Betrayed? Same thing. Just hate it. But I know exactly what I'm getting into playing a PvPvE game.
My expectations are managed. Eyes wide open to the risk.
And all that makes all those friend, big group encounters so much more INTERESTING!
Anyway, loving the game. It's something special. Don't worry about losing your gear. Smile and laugh it off. Bosses in Elden Ring feel so much better to best after they've kicked your ass for a bit. Getting killed in PvPvE games is the exact same thing.
Go get em'.
