A historical improv comedy show where the kings and queens of England are ranked according to a category chosen by you, the audience! Full of facts and fun!
@suzieedge We’ve got a Facebook and an Insta (@therankkingshow) but should really think about a TikTok! We admit things have slowed a bit on the content front this year, but we’re hoping to get a live show booked in November to pick things up again 😊
@suzieedge That’s a show subject we could definitely have some fun behind! We suppose it depends a little on the “how” of the “how” … “most eventful” might turn out differently to “most violent” which would be totally different to “how I’d want to go”!
History Hit and @intelligence2 have joined forces to debate a question that spans more than 1000 years: who was the greatest English monarch?

So ‘Crown and Sceptre’ by @TracyBorman might be the most brilliant book we’ve ever read. If you want a clear and understandable but deeply researched history of the kings and queens, this is THE book.
And here is the correct ranking…
👑 Queen Victoria (1837-1901) – 63 years
👑 George III (1760-1820) – 59 years
👑 James VI of Scotland (1567-1625) – 57 years
👑 Henry III (1216-1272) – 56 years
👑 Edward III (1327-1377) – 50 years
Who got this right? 🙋
