27 May 1927 | A Greek Jewish girl, Dolly Florentin, was born in Thessaloniki.

In 1943 she was deported to #Auschwitz. She did not survive.

16 May 1943 | A transport of some 4,500 Greek Jews deported from the ghetto in Thessaloniki arrived at Auschwitz.

After arrival selection 466 men & 211 women were registered in the camp. The remaining group – probably 3,823 people, were murdered in gas chambers.
