El Gringo

I'm a father, a scoundrel, and a professional wiseacre. this is what I'm doing when I'm not being one of those.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@theswandrowned I say Soap getting revenge because I feel Soap could have had the internal conversation of "if the rules hadn't stopped me from killing Makarov in Verdansk, Price would be alive."

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@theswandrowned Agreed. To me, the perfect would have been Price dying in 3, Soap getting revenge, then 4 being Gaz caught between a Ghost and Soap; having the 2 friends against each other with Kyle deciding where he stands based on his time with Price and talking about, "the line."

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@CollinsChadM Legend. My sister had an NES and loved Zelda but, the first game that was ever "mine" that I bought with money little 4 yr old me got for yard work and chores was a copy of the first Final Fantasy from the local flea market. Still one of my favorite series ever.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@CollinsChadM @AlexsArmy31 Happy birthday to @CollinsChadM, the man behind my favorite CoD character ever. Crossing my fingers we'll see you in MW4 next month.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@DontrellJS @thechrisdenker Definitely only being made as big a deal because of who his dad is and I also agree he shouldn't be written off because of one event.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@DontrellJS @thechrisdenker That's also just me talking as a fan and complete outsider, without any actual knowledge of conversations had behind the scenes.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@DontrellJS @thechrisdenker For sure. Like I said, I agree that he shouldn't have to, as the guest. I'm just of the opinion that he really could have started off on a better footing across the indies, by building rep and putting in work when he doesn't have to.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@jayunknownthe1 @thechrisdenker And imagine the greatness he can rise to by building a solid foundation now.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@Tyree20144 @thechrisdenker Keep in mind that I'm talking about how he's perceived by people in the industry, not the fans. And I agree that he probably won't remembered for setting up chairs. But it's really easy to be remembered by his peers as that guy that refuses to.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@MatthewBockholt Draw, maybe? Not a writer so I've never really stopped to consider a literary device as predatory but, maybe that word works better?

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@USMNT Due to the kind of defending that you see on a pitch full of 8-year olds. WTH was that?

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

For reference #Lanterns

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

I get it if you would prefer a brighter colored suit in the new #Lanterns show but, 1. It's in a shadowey closet so it might not be AS dark. But 2. Hal is a pilot. Flight suits are dark green/olive and so it's likely familiar to him.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@BAMBAMBEEF @EnrageViking @Inkslasher But it didn't take a chance. It ALSO just turned campaign into a tutorial, but for their light beer version of MWZ.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@writerfromnorth @Wally_Wests #criticalrolespoilers I TOTALLY missed that information. When did it come up?

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@fortunewindss @Zkretchy And it's perfectly valid to feel that it made sense in the cintext of the moment but, I feel like a good scene partner would let the other person have their moment and THEN say how you feel.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

@fortunewindss @Zkretchy For me, it wasn't so much her popping in to add to a bunch of conversations, but I got annoyed the times that she talked over or interrupted other character moments, like Sam clearly reading something from his notebook that he prepared and then she just shouted him down.

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

While I overall enjoyed the first 2 episodes of #DaredevilBornAgain , I finally remembered what the cgi in the first 12 minutes reminded me of

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

*quite a bit

Whatever

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

Just had to pause #DaredevilBornAgain only 12 min in. I get that it's a new series but...why does 90% of this fight seem to be CG? Already feels like a poor copy. Also, using CG to fake a no-cut fight scene in a succesot to a series known for those scenes is...oof...

[El Gringo @TheRealAgent37]

I genuinely hope it gets better from here but...man...my hype has fallen quite a but from when I hit "play" a little bit ago.
