Scalpers in Vancouver are pathetic, seen this for compass cards, pokemon and other collectibles. Disappointed in the @vancanadians for the first time. I still have my miniature ballpark from years ago, that was a great giveaway.
Really disappointed in the @vancanadians tonight.
My sons waited 1.5 hours before the gates even opened for a Trey Yesavage bobblehead they’ve been excited about for months. They were in position to get one until adults started joining friends already in line and the bobbleheads disappeared.
My wife watched MVP ticket holders walk out with multiple bobbleheads, one woman had six in her bag and didn’t even stay for the game.
Meanwhile, kids who actually waited were left empty-handed and disappointed.
This could have been an incredible memory for young baseball fans. Instead, poor organization allowed adults to hoard a kids giveaway while children watched them walk away with multiples.
Come on, Vancouver Canadians. You can do better than this. Pathetic.
@mattsekeres We would not in in this situation if Aqualoonie let either Gillis or Linden tear it down when they wanted to. Tragedy franchise. Vancouver deserves better.
@BMinimum69@DonnieandDhali@trevor_linden Tell me you know nothing about hockey and the ownership of the Canucks without telling me you know nothing about hockey and the ownership of the Canucks. Bear minimum is right, bear minimum knowledge.
@FarhanLaljiTSN Big fan of both teams. Two Canadians on the Mariners, and 5 Vancouver Canadian Alumni that I actually got to watch and cheer for on the Jays. Can both teams win??? Fuck the National League!
@The_Real_Moj@DonTaylor5 Bob, what about all the Vancouver Canadians on the Jays roster? I watched Yesavage pitch in May, watched Davis and Addison a few years back and even Fluharty.
@drury37@taj1944 You think it’s management… The real problem lies from an overcontrolling owner you can’t tell me that Jim Rutherford doesn’t seem frustrated when talking to the media because he is being controlled by AquaCuck
